home is where the heart is

This weekend was marvelous. It was filled with cooking and baking and dancing and friendship. It was one of those weekends that renews a person. It reminded me of why I love my friends and Nashville and life in general. I had a fantastic Valentines day with my beautiful, friend and roommate, Stephanie. She really is one of my favorite people in this world and I'm constantly reminded of why I love her! We cooked and baked and had so much fun! I finished the evening out by playing cards for a few hours with Matt. I honestly could not have asked for a better day to celebrate friendship and love. I can't wait till this weekend as well!

I got to go back to Campbellsville today, just for a few hours, but I needed to see my family. A snow storm wasn't going to stop me, though one almost did. I ate at my favorite Mexican restaurant and went to walmart with my Granny. She bought me light bulbs, socks and ski, all a girl could ever need. I love Nashville, but I'm very proud of where I'm from and as much as I hate that little town, I love it.

I have my call-back soon and I'm rightfully terrified/excited. Whatever happens, happens. Wish me luck!
